Munta!

Spent days cleaning out junk in the backyard and my room. It's that time of the year where people clean out things to their front yard. I have to say.. I'm one of those people that likes to go collect some of those things.. The excitement of looking and finding. Picked up a new dog kennel similar to the one the dogs have now and a little play house thing for kitty! and various other treasures that I think look cool but don't really need.. 

My drawing on animation class is also officially over. Watched everyone's animations and man they were like really good especially the ones with a bit of humour in them. I felt mine was pretty Eh. playing near the end but I'm happy with what I've done.

Besides all this... got a new addition to the family! Welcome Munta!

He's just the cutest little shit. Feeling sorry for kitty though for not giving him much attention..

Anyways watched The Amazing Spiderman the other day. When I saw there was another spiderman coming out, I was like nah this is gonna be crap, why would they make another one when there is already 2 or something and with another guy? wasn't planning to watch it at all BUT in the end it was really good! quite enjoyed it and exceeded my expectations.. Andrew Garfield the main guy is strangely attractive, even his walk is a bit strange but I like it. Also watching him on Ellen unexpectedly before this, I had the same expectation when he came out but he was somehow very charming and lured me in to watching the whole thing.

Cleaning is taking forever.

Wednesday watched "Samson and Delilah" 2009 movie. I was just like stunned to how much chroming petrol this guy does in the whole movie. It was quite interesting to watch. There are many seens where I'm thinking why is this happening! sort of,, like where he got the car, why didnt he hear her scream when she got caught etc. blah


Bought minnie ears for a buck! in Chapel on my break. Bought some T-shirts.
Painting class learned how to stretch canvas. Still gotta do mine for next week!

My baby!

Long ass Thursday. Life drawing pencil line drawing, male model. Sculpture started to plaster hands with Carly. Theory Class, learnt about Nazi! and Hitler. Was soo interesting and I actually understood not like the other times... even though I nearly fell asleep most of the time. I don't get why that happens. Relates to art cos of the use of propaganda. and Hitler was into art before all this but wasn't good himself, and he also created the weapons and all. Spent heaps of money on artworks. ... On my first break went to eat at Hungry Jacks with Linda, saw Michelle! and Nathan. It was also 7/11 dollar day again! so bought 3 dare iced coffee and 2 mother cans. Oh please let everything be well in printmaking! I always get this uncertain, worried feeling that something is gonna turn out wrong and end up getting told off.. boo

Walkabout

From Susan's notebook yesterday at Chingsins.
Urgh. I am such a picky girl who doesn't like her veggies or onions. Everyone around me at school is soo healthy! Just had to say.


Today in theory class, we watched "Walkabout". Another movie based on Australia.
The story is about an aborigine boy watches over a teenage girl and her younger brother after their businessman dad goes bonkers in the bush and kills himself. I like this one! I think it's because of the cute little boy that talks soo much in his British accent. The end is soo sad though.




After class decided to go to DFO at Southern Cross to buy some long sleeve shirts! cos I don't have any. Bought some items. Then to painting class. The set up was bad again, so wasn't really in the mood to paint but I got something done. Left early and met up with these two. Just hanged around. Man my phone cam is bad.



They were staring at me creepily for more than 10min or so, just cos they wanted to see my painting I did. -___-

Oh yes I received my penpal letter today, it has taken a week to get here.

Kangaroo killing

I had a pretty good day today, despite waking up early to go to early lecture. Saw quite a few people that I haven't seen in awhile. Didn't spend that much money! My American friend is starting to do pen-paling with me. Better be good. And omgg so stressed for printmaking! haven't started any of the 3 preliminary drawings from the word BROKEN for me to carve on lino. It has been weeks too! :(


"Wake in Fright". What we watched this morning (small class). I don't even know if I like it or not. The killing by shooting of kangaroos is involved. Quite harsh nasty stuff. took some naps throughout the movie. It's about a Teacher man that goes to a town for a break and gets wasted all the time and starts gambling, shooting kangaroos like all the men there then goes back to normal like the start. So weird. No comment on this one.


On break after class, went with Carly and Sara to see Steve Cox's exhibition at the John Buckley gallery in Richmond. Pretty cool stuff. Here are some of his works, I don't think I was meant to be taking pictures... but anyway..


Painting Class, I didn't like the set up at all. these empty water bottles and plastic stuff. Meant to create a transparent effect? So not.

Yesterday I actually watched " Angus thongs and perfect snogging?" naww i love their accent. and the guy on the right has such nice blue eyes. such pretty boys in London.
