Cat life

Current at uni, waiting for class to start.. had a nice relief nap. I had a tute with Raf and now a tad motivated to just get going and doing things! I am the same every start of the semester, so lost and zzz. Felt so shitty today though.  Living the life of a cat. I need a haircut and I feel like going for a run.

Last monday went to the Aquarium for class. We were meant to draw fishes and their movements. I struggled, it was so hard. I just actually suck at drawing in general. The penguins are so cute!

It has been awhile! so many things to update on, kinda. Been starting on theory work for a presentation in 2 weeks and a textual criticism. It has been stressing me out that I can't do other work without thinking about it. My current prac work is not going so well as I'd like it to either. After the break, I've just gone blank. Made canvases today. Here's some things I've created so far.

Went to the Art Fair this few weeks ago and made some of these monsters on monster land! The art fair took the whole day for me and K to look at everything. 11am til 4.30pm. craazy.

Spent days cleaning out junk in the backyard and my room. It's that time of the year where people clean out things to their front yard. I have to say.. I'm one of those people that likes to go collect some of those things.. The excitement of looking and finding. Picked up a new dog kennel similar to the one the dogs have now and a little play house thing for kitty! and various other treasures that I think look cool but don't really need.. 

My drawing on animation class is also officially over. Watched everyone's animations and man they were like really good especially the ones with a bit of humour in them. I felt mine was pretty Eh. playing near the end but I'm happy with what I've done.

Besides all this... got a new addition to the family! Welcome Munta!

He's just the cutest little shit. Feeling sorry for kitty though for not giving him much attention..

Anyways watched The Amazing Spiderman the other day. When I saw there was another spiderman coming out, I was like nah this is gonna be crap, why would they make another one when there is already 2 or something and with another guy? wasn't planning to watch it at all BUT in the end it was really good! quite enjoyed it and exceeded my expectations.. Andrew Garfield the main guy is strangely attractive, even his walk is a bit strange but I like it. Also watching him on Ellen unexpectedly before this, I had the same expectation when he came out but he was somehow very charming and lured me in to watching the whole thing.

Cleaning is taking forever.

Lately. Got a new scanner/printer. RMIT Graduation, Linda's birthday, Uni preferences, driving stuff, eating out a lot, sleeping til noon, puzzle was a third done but was destroyed by kitty.

First time going to the Melbourne Show. It was eh. Rides, showbags, animals, little stores, food area. It was like those new year festivals but with many more stores! and different events.

Today went to Springvale. There was some second hand market there near Sandown. I think it is new. It wasn't that great but managed to buy something. Went also to Laverton market on Saturday where I bought a cool mirror and some cheap platform shoes. Haven't been there for awhile since it involves waking up so early! I don't know what to do these days. So lost, just been hanging with Astro. It's quite sad actually but I really cbb leaving the house.

So I've been lazy blogging even though I'm on holidays and not doing much. Been fixing up my paintings for assessment for the semester! Apparently this year for this course everything is going to be graded. It sorta sucks but it's quite fair to the people who put more effort in their work. yeah.. I've been playing with kitty most of the time.

Astro! is his name. He's like my little kid that I feed and look after. He's currently sleeping on my leg right now. Never really thought there'll be so much time spent on him. He's such a cutie. After this week, gonna be stress free! presentation and essay.

Went to the zoo with the family this sat morning since we got free tickets, somehow. The weather was lovely! just like this whole week has been but I've spent most of it at home looking after my little niece.. sketching ideas for painting, starting research for this essay and still need to do sketches for the qvm thing. urgh on that. My universal charger is dead :( I need to revive my nikon.

Choc cake

My $5 Timberland shoes from the market

It's a classic chocolate cake. It looked so pretty with the icing on! (pictured above) like it was all smooth and shiny. It tasted pretty good too even though I thought it'll taste more chocolatey cos of how much chocolate I put in, still decent. It was all gone once it was cut anyway so I was happy.

These past few days, havent been doing anything much really. Had hotpot after class on Friday night, Saturday morning market then grocery shopping for a barbeque on Sunday, also made a cake late that night. Sunday home bbq for brother's birthday and his friends and today home once again painting bits and pieces. Feels so sad staying home on nice days. I wanted to go to moomba on the Sunday to see Red Ink and Lisa Mitchell perform but I had no one to go with and I remember the weather was half great; hot then it started pouring, what typical Melb weather.
