Peko

 Quick late night drawing. 

Went out with A&A today and ate at Peko Peko, a little busy japanese place near uni. I had some honey glazed chicken peko box. It was pretty goood and it had a nice menu. I would go again but the walking distance.. It's actually not that far though, I'm just lazy.

Back to the studio and did this bird drawing. Haven't done a marker drawing in awhile. Quite like it. Prob do more of these.

Reminisce

Went to the shops today, didn't buy much. I have been watching the tennis! I'm not a huge huge fan but I like it. Go Nadal and Djokovic! woo.
Anyways, most of the day I've been reminiscing old Kpop music on youtube with bands such as H.O.T, Shinhwa, JTL, the old Smtown, G.O.D.. etc. I think they're cool (even though they look so gangster) compared to the ones now. The ones now, I don't know who's who or what band they're in, they all look the same in big groups.

Sketch of Jean Michel Basquiat. Inspired when I watched a documentary about him a while ago on tv. His work is amazing. He is such a cool guy. I like his attitude/response towards things.

Iron fish

'Iron Fish', I've had this old iron board sitting in my room for weeks! and thought I'd create something since I haven't really been doing anything arty for quite a while now. I like the end result though!

no no no

Told myself not to spend money starting from today on random things, yet I did. And it's the first day! I'm so not gonna last the week. Shall keep note on the amount that I'm spending and see the total at the end of the week. Today had only one class, just had a group discussion in our little groups for our exhibition assignment where we make our own exhibition to see what happens and everything and a talk by the guys at project space.

Went to the night market for a bit with Thu after since it was the last day. Was packed as, moving around was hard. Then we went to eat some dumplings.

Today is my day off! was planning to do some painting but realised I've left everything in my studio, even my sketchbook. boo.

Oh yes, orangina will give you a wooo feeling.

Wham! Late night sketches that I've done and really quite like. The dude was inspired by Elvis, a mugshot image that I found, and the chic, some random model. Yes, that is my black book that I like to doodle in. Teehee. I also made a cake today! but I forgot to take a photo. boo.

Made these little felt dolls a couple days ago, Monday? All in one day.. well night. They still need a face. This is how bored I am. Just grab some felt from somewhere in the room, scissors, needle, thread and done. I can't believed I actually managed to sew just like that, out of nowhere. I like the black one with the Mickey ears, the sewing is neat compared to the other.

I noticed I haven't been drawing anything lately, well for awhile, since the start of the semester, cos my main book has finished and I haven't got a proper second book with good paper to start the next one. Found a little sketch book in my drawer that I rarely open. Started a few sketches today while at work. No one has came in once again. Something has been bought everyday except Tuesdays. I guess Tuesdays are not made for flowers or it's just cos I'm there. haha yes.. so not. Painted a door and a wall.

The title is nothing too serious, it relates to many things though.. one like my choice of topic for my essay out of 10. Why did I choose The Angry Penguins. I can still change it but I've borrowed books and did some stuff already... I am not enjoying it at all. and others ... waiting


haha so fugly. The left drawing is by some guy that was sitting on the same table as me and Linda at the Tim Burton drawing room. He just left that drawing behind. So had to take it.. cos it's soo awesome plus for memories.

I've made a dailybooth awhile ago, but sorta starting to use it now. Some of the pics people post are funny. haha I'll show a link when I have more friends.

2 essays to write and soo stuck, don't even know how to start, plus a sore back. What a break I have had this week. Doesn't feel like anything. Feels really shitty. Can't wait to get back.
