Current at uni, waiting for class to start.. had a nice relief nap. I had a tute with Raf and now a tad motivated to just get going and doing things! I am the same every start of the semester, so lost and zzz. Felt so shitty today though. Living the life of a cat. I need a haircut and I feel like going for a run.

Last monday went to the Aquarium for class. We were meant to draw fishes and their movements. I struggled, it was so hard. I just actually suck at drawing in general. The penguins are so cute!

Last studio shots for the year! It has been quite a year.. I don't know how to describe it.
Took down everything today. Now break time! I am in a pickle. I kind of need to choose between two jobs that mainly require night shifts on the weekends. If you know me, I hate choosing and can't really make decisions on the spot. It makes me feel sad to choose one. Why does it have to happen now and not before when I was actually searching. :(
I met a really cute guy last week on my first shift, but didn't catch his name or anything.. cos I was focusing on other things (actually working). There was so many chances but oh well.. I have also been majorly sick especially on Monday where my throat was so sore, felt swollen, runny nose, and so many non stop tears from morning til the afternoon.. even at the docs. By the end of the day my eyes were so puffy like mosquitoes have bitten them. I even went to see my brothers little art show.. and the next day I had an interview in the morning where my eyes were still in that same state.. I think it went well though.. Anyways I am much better now and the weather is just crazy.
It has been a good stress free productive, I guess, week. Also got my hair cut.
Two days in the studio. I've made this square canvas to paint a pattern on but found another for it so I painted this portrait of my little baby cousin.
Wed: had mid semester reviews.. wasn't so great but now actually motivates me to do things. Started to paint this doggy.
Thu: finally got round to hanging my stuff on my wall. been meaning to! but had the wrong nails.. Also went to the art forum thing for the first time this year. It was pretty good.

Was sunny day out today washed the dogs, went bike riding, made some jelly and some Choc chip scones! as well as painting.
Went out with A&A today and ate at Peko Peko, a little busy japanese place near uni. I had some honey glazed chicken peko box. It was pretty goood and it had a nice menu. I would go again but the walking distance.. It's actually not that far though, I'm just lazy.
Back to the studio and did this bird drawing. Haven't done a marker drawing in awhile. Quite like it. Prob do more of these.
It has been awhile once again. Gonna try and get back to it. Easter break coming up. Highlights: job which never called me back, throwing up for a couple of days, painting, analysis, seeing high school art teachers and just sitting around.
Morning class was planned to check out artist studios but it was cancelled! and I didn't know about it since I took the day off before (where I made a fail pumpkin pudding).. so I just rocked up there wondering why people weren't around.. lucky another guy came and found out. I was kinda looking forward to it too.

Hellooo I am finally back blogging.. from my random disappearance for anyone that cares.
What has been happening for the last four weeks.. Still kind of same old and bits and pieces. I have been sick since the second day of uni. It went for more than a week! I felt so dead. All I've carried around is my water bottle and a box of tissues. I have a rubbish bag full of tissues in my studio and even in my room. Wasted so much tissue. It was crazy. Well now I am officially all better despite the weather being what it always is. Uni has been alright. I don't really like Mondays. There is soo much talent in one space. Everyone's work is just wowsers. Well here is what I've been doing..

Slowly filling my wall up. What I've been doing lately.. mainly painting.
Saturday was boiling. Went to springvale to go to the cemetery. It's such a pretty place. Also made pancakes! in the afternoon. I haven't really made any food for so long.
My pancake with strawberries, jam, cream and violet crumble ice cream. Inspired by the one I ate at passionflower.

Homeless Thu. Tuesday went to the city to pick up work from the studio after assessment with only less than an hour to clear things out! so horrible. I thought I could've brought everything home by train but I guess not.. I had too much stuff to carry. Thanks to Jonathan who helped! Oh I shall miss my studio and everyone else.

Been taking stuff home from studio and cleaning, whilst setting up for assessment. Also finished another painting in 2days on the weekend! of a portrait of my parents.
I haven't been feeling so good these days, quite sad actually. I'm backing away from everything..

'Rosehead Charlie'. Sculpture I made yesterday night. There was a baby head for it but it was a bit too big so it ended up like this. I quite like it, although it keeps me questioning as to why I've done it so.
Delayed post. Didn't realise it's the last week of classes! It was a nice day to sit back and enjoy the sun while having a sausage with others. Preparing for assessment and exhibition!
Studio space before it'll be all cleared out. I'm so gonna miss it.
Been watching movies lately. Finally watched Inception. I can see why people say it is good, the way everything is set out is different, trippy. I'm abit slow for the film. El Bola, spanish film, about a 12 year old boy who has a troubled life and is happier when a new kid comes along and sees the positive side of life plus helps with his problem. It's alright just a bit dragged out. Drop Dead Fred, imaginary friend, currently watching, the main guy is so annoying. Also lately been watching Daria. Since watching it back then I never knew she was soo smart, such an awesome show. Anyway, my work is hung up for Open day this Sunday! and QVM event is happening soon.
