What have I been up to lately? Well, not much. Jut slacking off a bit and there. Only like less than 4 weeks now till it's over. holy moly.

On Monday night, the Visual Art Fundraising Silent Auction at The Curtin was on. The group did an awesome job in setting up and it was an overall success raising a great amount. Everyone's work looks so good. I didn't bid at any though although I should've but I was happy enough to get one of Stacey's creations (which I'll upload later)

Good golly, after next week shall be a tad relieved. Also got a job interview soon which hopefully goes well.. I truly hope.

Morning market yesterday and bought some boots, did some drawing, tad on essay, movie.

Here are two that I've watched.

Dancer in the Dark.

I didn't really know Bjork besides 2 or 3 of her songs and what people have said about her but watching this you can tell from the start of the movie she is a very interesting character. It's quite strange. At times she is so kiddish, reminds me of 'This is Emily yeung' on the abc channel but an honest true character she is. The movie is quite sad, and I got annoyed she couldn't at least tell the truth. Anyways, she is married to Matthew Barney! who created The Cremaster series that I watched sometime last year. It is also very strange but I really enjoy his stuff. It really is something.

Today had my artist presentation which I did on Samuli Heimonen, a Finnish painter whose work depicts how things relate to people and how we humans interact. His work is quite dark but it also has a, I guess visually playful aspect to it. Had a studio walk around after. Met up with Susan for the QVM thing that was on tonight. Everyone dressed up so pretty! yet I looked odd holding a recycled bag with this puppy bed I had just bought for cheap but it was cool. photos up when I get them.

Replaced by kitty. It's beenn about a month and a half and he has grown so big! double the size he was at first actually.

I got my essay back from last semester and got some feedback. I did the stupidest thing but I did quite good though overall, I forgot to actually put the question in. That should've been the first thing to put in. The essay we had to do was to create a question for ourself that would help us with the work we are doing now. Ah well.

Unfinished painting I did today in not so many hours. Planning to paint over it with maybe a dog and wiping it away.

Olivas inspired painting! Making it up in the spot, the hair really annoyed me. She was meant to be wearing a cone hat at first, but that failed.

Back to class. Finally bought a charger for my cam! which now looks shitty compared to the canon, for not using it after a while. The day my train line is not on the go for 2 weeks.

Today went to Springvale. There was some second hand market there near Sandown. I think it is new. It wasn't that great but managed to buy something. Went also to Laverton market on Saturday where I bought a cool mirror and some cheap platform shoes. Haven't been there for awhile since it involves waking up so early! I don't know what to do these days. So lost, just been hanging with Astro. It's quite sad actually but I really cbb leaving the house.

So I've been lazy blogging even though I'm on holidays and not doing much. Been fixing up my paintings for assessment for the semester! Apparently this year for this course everything is going to be graded. It sorta sucks but it's quite fair to the people who put more effort in their work. yeah.. I've been playing with kitty most of the time.

Astro! is his name. He's like my little kid that I feed and look after. He's currently sleeping on my leg right now. Never really thought there'll be so much time spent on him. He's such a cutie. After this week, gonna be stress free! presentation and essay.
