Sunny [+]

It has been a good stress free productive, I guess, week. Also got my hair cut.

Two days in the studio. I've made this square canvas to paint a pattern on but found another for it so I painted this portrait of my little baby cousin.  

Wed: had mid semester reviews.. wasn't so great but now actually motivates me to do things. Started to paint this doggy.

Thu: finally got round to hanging my stuff on my wall. been meaning to! but had the wrong nails.. Also went to the art forum thing for the first time this year. It was pretty good.

Random thing I made on Friday night.

Was sunny day out today washed the dogs, went bike riding, made some jelly and some Choc chip scones! as well as painting.

Peko

 Quick late night drawing. 

Went out with A&A today and ate at Peko Peko, a little busy japanese place near uni. I had some honey glazed chicken peko box. It was pretty goood and it had a nice menu. I would go again but the walking distance.. It's actually not that far though, I'm just lazy.

Back to the studio and did this bird drawing. Haven't done a marker drawing in awhile. Quite like it. Prob do more of these.

I'm a black swan

Hello. Today I had the urge to paint but spent most of the time thinking about what I was going to paint.. Ended up doing a little shoot of one of my sketches that I'm editing instead.

Also made sushi with spam, egg and cucumber.

These couple of days I've been babysitting, baking; cream puffs and churros, and going to the studio now and then. Experimenting with gel medium transfers. Fixing up thing. Hanged out with A on Friday, then S&A where we ate korean at Yami yami. The chicken is so delish.

 Studio on Tuesday, started to make these babies again but actually painting them. Went to the opening of 'Funny games'@VCA and one at First Site.

The weather has been horrible the last week. Rainy day, messy table, messy room. 

Max sits by the window sill, he keeps on giving me the stare.. just cos I left him pantless.

Present from my brother when I came home. So random.

Been taking stuff home from studio and cleaning, whilst setting up for assessment. Also finished another painting in 2days on the weekend! of a portrait of my parents.

I haven't been feeling so good these days, quite sad actually. I'm backing away from everything..

'Rosehead Charlie'. Sculpture I made yesterday night. There was a baby head for it but it was a bit too big so it ended up like this. I quite like it, although it keeps me questioning as to why I've done it so.

Hands

Ahoy hoy hoy, Spent most of my Saturday creating these hand casts! using alginate. I planned on doing my dog's paw at first but I thought I'll just test it out first since I haven't really used it before besides last year when the teacher did everything for me so.. I didn't know how to mix and etc. I feel proud of myself now doing it on my own. Oh good on me.

Sunday was spent on creating a website for class. I was quite into it after awhile of editing photos and rarar. Rather get it done early then leave it till last minute. I quite like my site atm. I shall post when it's super. Also continued on painting which can be seen in this gif since the last time I worked on it.

Still in progress. I really like looking at this.. even though I made it. I took both images at different times and unexpectedly similar compositions. So I thought it was cool to create a gif. Walahh.

Friday was a relief after the mural presentation. Quite glad it's over now, one less thing to worry about before the year ends!

Jellybabies

Hot hot day it has been, spent in the city, fundraising instead of painting. We made a reasonable amount for what we are doing so it was good.

Strawberry pancake at Passionflower yesterday. It was my first time there. A friend was working and it was nice seeing her again! The food was alright, I don't really eat at these places but I think it's better than pancake parlour.

While at my studio I put this little guy together and created the base for it to stand. Still deciding whether I should paint him or not. I have a feeling he will be named Fred.

While I was cleaning and sorting things out for my room. He is so naughty. We have taught him to use the kitty litter and he knows how but now he somehow learned to poop in the bathroom near the shower hole and pee pee in the sink. I just wonder where he got the idea from. Plus he lost a tooth the other day!

First day of the month. So relieved! the week has been soo busy. Finally essay done, artist statement done, job interview over, catalogue stuff done, kit done. Still mural to do, online app, fundraising, more painting. Now mini break time!

New blazer + the usual room mess

Was a beautiful day where I had to come in for my tutorial. Everything was all good. It was actually nice and useful to get others opinion and ideas other than the usual. It made me feel more reassured in what I was doing. Still got quite some work to do in not so many weeks. Urgh essay to complete and to the other stuff due on 30th Sept.

Sitting in the sun at Fed and started to write a letter, like finally but unfinished.

Littlest

Kitty and I. We are gonna go on a trip to the moon to get some cheese so kitty can lure some mice in so he can have some fun!

Been meaning to blog, but don't feel that motivated to.. maybe cos my blog is now filled with kitty. You may wonder where little boy and Fluffy are at, as they don't appear that much as usual. You could say I've been cheating on Boy. It's quite sad, I've been spending too much time with kitty.. he's still young and needs some lovin.

Anyways these days has been sad, it might be the weather. maybe. We get to find out which 5 people the QVM people have chosen tomorrow! One chosen to be produced. Quite exciting. I won't know til later since I don't have class.

The Day Harry was born

Look what I've managed to get done today. My intention was to make a llama or alpaca or whatever and it turned out to this. I'm quite happy with it. He shall be named Harry just cos the name popped in my head just now. I like the name Elroy though, but I'll save that name for something/one special.

What I wore today plus my messy room as usual. It was 7/11 dollar day again. Bought some Mothers, milk and a meat pie. Today finally stayed for all my classes! Feels good. Then after class went with Thu from class to the Ghostpatrol opening @QV No Vacancy just for like 5 min. The space was small so it was filled with many people mainly wearing black. There wasn't much work though.. but yessss still pretty cool. I've been told from some of my classmates that I'm funny? I seriously don't know why. Oh well. I found that funny. Even when my sculpture teacher was looking at my work. She was like 'I like your type of humour' I'm just like ' ummmm okay' like what I always say for some reason. In my head was just like, er what type of humour? Such a lostie I am.

Alpaca

Saw a adorable image in the mx yesterday of an alpaca (llama) and so I had to do something about it. Part of my animal project. woo
