City morning

There was a bright light shining from the building near state this morning, just in that particular area. I don't know if it is always there but wow it killed my eyes.
Halfway through the painting. I sorta wrecked it adding the dog.. Anyways Congrats to Ellah, Ellen, Elouise, Stacey and Trish being chosen for the QVM project!

Littlest

Kitty and I. We are gonna go on a trip to the moon to get some cheese so kitty can lure some mice in so he can have some fun!
Been meaning to blog, but don't feel that motivated to.. maybe cos my blog is now filled with kitty. You may wonder where little boy and Fluffy are at, as they don't appear that much as usual. You could say I've been cheating on Boy. It's quite sad, I've been spending too much time with kitty.. he's still young and needs some lovin.
Anyways these days has been sad, it might be the weather. maybe. We get to find out which 5 people the QVM people have chosen tomorrow! One chosen to be produced. Quite exciting. I won't know til later since I don't have class.
Progress 'Baby dog head'; my sculpture idea. looks like a baby joey

Painting I'm working on atm. Little me.

Crown

Replaced by kitty. It's beenn about a month and a half and he has grown so big! double the size he was at first actually.
I wish he could of stayed this small!

I got my essay back from last semester and got some feedback. I did the stupidest thing but I did quite good though overall, I forgot to actually put the question in. That should've been the first thing to put in. The essay we had to do was to create a question for ourself that would help us with the work we are doing now. Ah well.
Unfinished painting I did today in not so many hours. Planning to paint over it with maybe a dog and wiping it away.

Olivas inspired painting! Making it up in the spot, the hair really annoyed me. She was meant to be wearing a cone hat at first, but that failed.

BBus

Back to class. Finally bought a charger for my cam! which now looks shitty compared to the canon, for not using it after a while. The day my train line is not on the go for 2 weeks.

Misery Children

I found a cool artist today by the name of Kathie Olivas. Her works features characters of children wearing various animals masks, cone hats (like gnomes which is my fav!) that I've been wanting to incorporate in my work. Her work focus on imperfect characters that parallel a vision of post-apocalyptic conformity, uniquely documenting their own stories in a mysterious brave new world - Artist herself. I think my work that I've done (not many) resembles with hers somehow, with the young characters, the way they're dressed up and incorporating animals. The way she paints reminds me of Mark Ryden's with that smooth texture and tone that make the figures pop out. I just really love her work!

Teapot

Bought this beanie today. It’s not any beanie, in fact it’s not a beanie.. it’s a teapot warmer! Oh I am so cool.. even the old people who sold it to me had to just reassure me that it was a teapot warmer and offered me to buy the other many beanies that were displayed around the store.
K: I'll take it, I like it, it's different.
M: That makes you different.
hahahaa.. yes..
Anyways, took my brother out to Smith St today. He wanted to check out sneakers at the nike factory since a sale was happening and ended up getting a pair of red nikes that I found for cheap 40$. There were so many things that I wanted to buy in the area like a navy cape, a really nice pink pom pom beanie, dresses, jackets.. but.. I said no to myself. It just feels bad buying unnecessary things while unemployed. urgh Maybe that's why I haven't been out most of these days.. hmm.
