Charlie

Present from my brother when I came home. So random.

Been taking stuff home from studio and cleaning, whilst setting up for assessment. Also finished another painting in 2days on the weekend! of a portrait of my parents.

I haven't been feeling so good these days, quite sad actually. I'm backing away from everything..

'Rosehead Charlie'. Sculpture I made yesterday night. There was a baby head for it but it was a bit too big so it ended up like this. I quite like it, although it keeps me questioning as to why I've done it so.

Galah

He's like my paintings! but real.
I'm so sad my mac is dying, currently using my other sony one atm. It feels so weird cos I'm so used to a mac. Anyways well the tip of the charger has fallen off and the wire has separated. urghh not happy kat. Also my charger has been overcharged as well for many months now. I'm quite shock it hasn't fully died on me just yet. I'm so bad at these things!

Anywho, was motivated to paint today. I started this painting in about July of my dad's galah and haven't touched it since cos it was ugly and today it's finally done! I'm quite happy about this painting. Dedicated to my dad.

Space

Delayed post. Didn't realise it's the last week of classes! It was a nice day to sit back and enjoy the sun while having a sausage with others. Preparing for assessment and exhibition!

Studio space before it'll be all cleared out. I'm so gonna miss it.

Hands

Ahoy hoy hoy, Spent most of my Saturday creating these hand casts! using alginate. I planned on doing my dog's paw at first but I thought I'll just test it out first since I haven't really used it before besides last year when the teacher did everything for me so.. I didn't know how to mix and etc. I feel proud of myself now doing it on my own. Oh good on me.

Sunday was spent on creating a website for class. I was quite into it after awhile of editing photos and rarar. Rather get it done early then leave it till last minute. I quite like my site atm. I shall post when it's super. Also continued on painting which can be seen in this gif since the last time I worked on it.

Still in progress. I really like looking at this.. even though I made it. I took both images at different times and unexpectedly similar compositions. So I thought it was cool to create a gif. Walahh.

Friday was a relief after the mural presentation. Quite glad it's over now, one less thing to worry about before the year ends!

Elephant

Playsuit is so comfy. Kind of wasted my morning waiting for my driving lesson which I thought started earlier than what it actually was.

My first ever home working desk where I just made that body with no head.

Birds nest my dad found in our backyard. It's so pretty. One of the little finches has hatched!

oh kitty kitty kitty. He has been waking me up so early and if I don't wake up he'll jump on my face and then sleep on my tum or he'll wonder around and moan.

Jellybabies

Hot hot day it has been, spent in the city, fundraising instead of painting. We made a reasonable amount for what we are doing so it was good.

Strawberry pancake at Passionflower yesterday. It was my first time there. A friend was working and it was nice seeing her again! The food was alright, I don't really eat at these places but I think it's better than pancake parlour.

While at my studio I put this little guy together and created the base for it to stand. Still deciding whether I should paint him or not. I have a feeling he will be named Fred.

While I was cleaning and sorting things out for my room. He is so naughty. We have taught him to use the kitty litter and he knows how but now he somehow learned to poop in the bathroom near the shower hole and pee pee in the sink. I just wonder where he got the idea from. Plus he lost a tooth the other day!

Room

1 2 3 Finally have my own room. The week has gone by so fast. It doesn't even feel like I've done anything since but I've started another painting and did some sculpture work, and well started on most of the things that I needed to do. Now to start another painting, finalise mural design+statement and continue fundraising. Few weeks to go!

Old wall. It feels weird taking photos off the wall, its like its been there for so long and now it's just a blank canvas. The placement will never be the same!
