Stripes!

The year is getting so close to an end! Soo much to do in such little time although it doesn't feel like it now. The past week haven't really been up to much besides sitting and thinking. I am totally chilling my way through this. Actually finished reading Jon Bergers 'Ways of seeing' and I'm not really a reader.. interesting stuff esp on publicity (for me). Currently, started a painting (Mr.Q), fail shoot, need to do start essay, more studio work, comission for CC, job search. make canvases. 

Haven't been actually drawing drawing but here's one from yesterday of pa and his bird. 

Just finished watching 'Symbols' with Hitoshi Matsumoto on sbs. It is such a cracka movie. Could not stop laughing. A guy in colourful pyjamas trapped in a white room with these little penises along the walls which when you touch them some random item magically appears and he just tries and escape the room. Also watched The ring (Japanese version), Amelie (again), Padre Padrone.

It has been a good stress free productive, I guess, week. Also got my hair cut.

Two days in the studio. I've made this square canvas to paint a pattern on but found another for it so I painted this portrait of my little baby cousin.  

Wed: had mid semester reviews.. wasn't so great but now actually motivates me to do things. Started to paint this doggy.

Thu: finally got round to hanging my stuff on my wall. been meaning to! but had the wrong nails.. Also went to the art forum thing for the first time this year. It was pretty good.

Random thing I made on Friday night.

Was sunny day out today washed the dogs, went bike riding, made some jelly and some Choc chip scones! as well as painting.

When the darkest moments comes alive.

What in the one

Long hair is annoying and I want to cut it but I attempted to dip dye it instead. I wanted to dye it blue at first but I thought that it'll be too bright and I'll get told off by my parents for being a bad influence to my brother if I do, so I chose a darker alternative colour, Aubergine. You can't really notice it straight away since I've done it on the bottom half tips of my hair so the top layer is covering it. I might just dye those bits too. The tones are a bit uneven but I think it's pretty good for the first time bleaching hair with the help of my siblings. That orange strand was my actual first tryout. It was failx3. Anyways It was quite exciting! to do something different and seeing the revealed colour. I quite like it.

1. SHOCK. My new hair. It's soo pretty, I'm in love.. 2. Boxing day sale today! eek bought some vans and other random things. 3. Bored in church! 4.Christmas is over, spent the day painting and doing some other stuff.

Sketches I did from work today. Skipped my last Advanced drawing class to work. So sad, I now know that was one of my favourite classes. Why did I say yes.

Oh my fringe.. better long. Oh well, hair grows.

My hair has grown! I'm happy, 4 months has passed. It's at an annoying length though.


From yesterday on the way to Richmond after class. Cant believe we saw HIM when I just mentioned about him. Seriously.
