Rabbits

Yesterday came home from uni and fell right into bed. It was quite early too. I haven't been sleeping right these days, I don't know why. I do other silly things instead. Learnt about acrylics and their different qualities in mediums and all that in the morning. It was quite interesting although I couldn't manage to stay awake.. I don't get it. Why is it when I find something interesting my brain doesn't stay awake. Even every lecture.  Hanged out with A&A and played mario kart at EB. fun fun, but at the end of the day I felt so shitty and sad. Too much thinking going on. Still got an essay to submit. Started a painting of a girl and one of fluffy.

Inspiration for my video idea that popped in my head whilst having my tute. I really do quite enjoy these. I like rabbits, I like the way they talk and the dialogue, the setting, everything. Check out if you're bored, cos they're a tad long.

Hola, my mac is alive again! thanks to my brother. Feeling so relieved after Monday, I've been stressing for weeks for this day and now it's over. Presentation done! Glad no questions was directly asked to me. Good golly. Official essay next week but Phew, now I feel lost and uncertain about where I am going with my prac stuff. I think it's gonna be a chillax unmotivated week. I had quite a good individual tute Monday afternoon though. A video project may come soon. I feel sad I don't really have any art stuff to show.

My kind of 'style' has changed from what I've been previously doing. More playful and it still has a creepy kind of feel to them which I still quite like. I'm also getting back to the eyes! which is weird but better, they'll still won't be normal looking though..I don't think. It has been fun to make, still not exactly sure where it is going. There is going to be a little painting show next Tuesday at VCA. 

So many birthdays has happened in this month of April.. I quite dislike birthdays but I enjoy making the cakes though! All similar to the checkered one.

Wednesday (Anzac day) Felt so shit. Day off, cousins and dad's friends came over. Celebrated Emilie's birthday. Just one of those days where I had a massive headache and wanted to tear up inside,whilst trying to stay maintained on the outside. This actually happens a lot thinking about it but it's alright. Kitty has been a big help

Went to the Finders Keepers Market last Friday night and got these! I love Dilka Bear's work. I went there rather early after class and there was a bunch of people waiting to get in or maybe it was for the taco bus..

Had a little presentation Friday, showed my little stop motion clip (another one of the baby in the shoe) which didn't really play properly/smoothly as I'd like) It was alright though, that class was soo long. Last week presented my watercolour window series which had quite a discussion..

These days I've been stressing over this stupid presentation and essay I need to do due wk10(1wk-ish). I know its quite awhile for some to get an essay done but for me, it's so hard. It still hasn't sunk in that it is due soon. I just can't put everything together. Actually procrastinating right now.. noo.

I haven't used gouache for a while, I thought I could use it like watercolors. I knew that it'd be different. Blending was very hard and frustrating. 

I've made some foood.

Choc checkered cake.

Panna cotta w/coconut tuile, almond toffee and strawberries.
 It was surpringly delicious! and a bit fancy 

I've also made a pumpkin pudding which I was really stoked about when making it but it failed. Only one tablespoon was eaten.

Went to eat in the morning at a buffet in Footscray. Laughed at Dolan comics! They're so stupidly funny, I love it. Took and nap then went to church.

It has been awhile once again. Gonna try and get back to it. Easter break coming up.
Highlights: job which never called me back, throwing up for a couple of days, painting, analysis, seeing high school art teachers and just sitting around.

Morning class was planned to check out artist studios but it was cancelled! and I didn't know about it since I took the day off before (where I made a fail pumpkin pudding).. so I just rocked up there wondering why people weren't around.. lucky another guy came and found out. I was kinda looking forward to it too.

Hellooo I am finally back blogging.. from my random disappearance for anyone that cares.
What has been happening for the last four weeks.. Still kind of same old and bits and pieces. I have been sick since the second day of uni. It went for more than a week! I felt so dead. All I've carried around is my water bottle and a box of tissues. I have a rubbish bag full of tissues in my studio and even in my room. Wasted so much tissue. It was crazy. Well now I am officially all better despite the weather being what it always is. Uni has been alright. I don't really like Mondays. There is soo much talent in one space. Everyone's work is just wowsers. Well here is what I've been doing..
